Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using SocialHalwa ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by CodeEdge Tech and Ventures Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SocialHalwa. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for business and professional use.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@socialhalwa.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to post illegal, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Violate the terms of service of Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or any connected platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any connected accounts that you do not own.
• Use the Service for spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or phishing.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

5. Social platform compliance

The Service connects to third-party platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of those platforms via SocialHalwa complies with each platform's own terms of service, community guidelines, and applicable laws. We are not liable for any action taken by a third-party platform against your account.

6. Subscription and billing

SocialHalwa is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. GST-compliant invoices are issued by Razorpay on our behalf.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refunds are issued for partial months unless required by applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by CodeEdge Tech and Ventures Pvt Ltd. You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process and transmit your content solely to deliver the Service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduled posts will be published at the exact time requested. Third-party platform API availability is outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeEdge Tech and Ventures Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service is causing harm to other users or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to delete your data.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
